The TX-HFBR-4532Z is ​​a black, simplex, latching, crimp-free plastic fiber optic connector from the Avago HFBR-453xz series. Designed for 1mm diameter plastic optical fiber (POF), its crimp-free installation and versatility make it commonly used in various fields, including industrial and automotive applications.

Basic Compatibility: Compatible only with 1mm diameter plastic optical fibers, supporting two levels of POF cables: a low-cost standard POF with a typical attenuation of 0.22dB/m, and a high-performance ultra-low-loss POF with a typical attenuation of 0.19dB/m, adapting to scenarios with different cost and transmission quality requirements.

Material and Protection: Utilizes durable ULTEM® plastic material, meeting UL94 V-0 flame retardant standards (UL document number E121562). It can withstand the wear and tear of complex industrial environments, meets fire safety compliance requirements, and complies with RoHS and RoHS phthalate compliance standards, achieving environmentally friendly performance.

Installation Features: Employs a snap-on assembly design, eliminating the need for crimping rings and professional crimping tools. Installation requires only standard tools such as wire strippers and scissors. It can also be used with the HFBR-4593Z polishing kit for fiber end-face polishing, after which it is ready for immediate use. For applications in extreme temperature environments or scenarios requiring frequent temperature cycling, RTV adhesive can be used to reinforce the connection between the cable and the connector, improving its robustness.
