Versatile Link interface is a global universal interface standard for 980 / 1000μm POF cable launched by Avago for low-rate industrial optical links.

The types are: simplex, simplex lock, duplex and duplex lock, all using plug-in installation, the connector is made of flame retardant VALOX UL94 V-0 material . The polyethylene shell outside the plastic optical cable complies with UL VW-1 flame retardant specifications, and the link transmission distance is extended by 120 meters at 40 kBd.
