M6 Series Sensor Jumper Cables

The M6 ​​series plastic fiber optic sensor patch cord is a medium-sized interface type optical transmission component suitable for industrial sensing applications. Its core features include an M6 connector, the use of plastic optical fiber (POF) as the transmission medium, and a focus on strong interface compatibility, stable transmission, and high resistance to harsh industrial environments. It is often used in conjunction with fiber optic amplifiers for medium-distance detection scenarios.

Transmission Core: The plastic optical fiber (POF) uses a PMMA core (commonly single-core/dual-core, core diameter 0.5mm/1.0mm), with a low-refractive-index fluororesin cladding. It is adapted for the 650nm red light wavelength, with a short-distance (≤2000mm) transmission attenuation of ≤0.2dB/m, ensuring accurate transmission of sensing signals.

M6 Connector: Uses an M6 standard circular threaded connector (outer diameter 6mm). The housing is mostly made of metal/engineering plastic, with a threaded locking structure, providing strong vibration resistance and anti-loosening capabilities after connection; some models include an IP67 waterproof and dustproof sealing ring, resistant to workshop dust and moisture, suitable for harsh industrial environments.

Protective Structure: The cable sheath commonly uses flexible PVC, LSZH (low smoke zero halogen), or PU materials:
PVC/LSZH sheath is suitable for conventional indoor/enclosed environments and is flame-retardant;
PU sheath is oil-resistant and wear-resistant, suitable for chemical/oily workshops;
The connector and cable transition section have built-in Kevlar reinforcement, with a tensile strength of ≥1500N, reducing damage to the fiber core from cable pulling during installation.
