DESCRIPTION:
TX POF is a high performance optical fiber
available in both simplex and multicore variants. This
optical fiber has a high‐purity 1 mm PMMA core
with specially selected transparent polymer cladding. The core and cladding are surrounded by polyethylene(PE) jacket.
This POF cable is delivered on reels for convenience when installing runs of cable into equipment or buildings, making harness assemblies, or making custom length patch cords in small quantities.
APPLICATIONS:
1.Control links within high voltage electrical control equipment
2.Data communication where extreme immunity to EMI is required
3.Links between equipment that requires electrical isolation to be maintained
4.Rugged links in hostile environments

1.Is fiber optic heat resistant?
The conventional optical fiber is not heat resistance, usually the operation temperature is below 80℃ , and therefore, is not suitable for use in high-temperature environments.
