Optical Cable Price For Fiber Light Solutions
Lighting / Illumination As one of basic applications of plastic optical fiber cable , lighting and illumination takes full advantage of medium’s safe and environment friendly properties . Today, it is still popular in creative or specialty light displays . Lighting applications use LED , halogen light source engines , and one source can fix many fiber light pipes . Bare fibers or clad fiber cable with different diameters are workable for engine’s aperture .

Fiber selection between Lighting and Communication
In lighting conductors/guides, large-diameter, solid core fiber is typically used. As with smaller fiber used for data transmission or Automation, lowest attenuation and special protective jacket like Fire retardant or Halogen free is mostly considered. But jacket is taken to protect its cladding from scratches during installation in lighting purpose.
Projects and Decorations
- Starry skies (Ceiling/roof or underwater)
- Chandeliers or Curtains
- Swimming pool
- Fiber optic fabric or textile designs
- Reeds Jellyfish and Firefly lighting displays
