Sparkle optic fiber in lighting project

Sparkle optic fiber is a kind of sidelight light guides for lighting application. We sparkle the fiber on PMMA material body along whole length according to certain distance, like 15mm etc. So the fiber have an effect of side glow besides end glow. Normally we have our own bare fiber to be sparkled, but Mitsubishi brand CK30, CK40 or SK30, SK40 are also available to choose.

Except bare fiber, clad fibre with clear pvc cladding is popular for outdoor decorations as well. It is a 0.75mm/1mm sparkled bare fiber encased in a 2mm/2.2mm diameter pvc cladding, with UV resistant.

Obviously we can customize it to 3 strands or more according to customer's request, this kind of multi-core sparkle fiber is used in sensory room a lot for kids, as it's safe for touching.

You can find it in many decorative features, such as chandeliers, backdrops and curtains. It brings a dreamlike and romantic feelings to you when it's lit up in night.

Most famous scene for sparkle fiber is dreamlike forest in Avatar.
