Plastic Optical Fiber Cable

Plastic optical fiber (POF) or polymer optical fibre is an optical fiber that is made out of polymer. Usually this POF is made up of PMMA material.

1.25mm POF Cable is made of Janpan imported Communication Cable. With a good jacket, it brings more security to the fiber inside, and allows to be used in tough environments.

This fiber cable used for industrial sensor with outer diameter 1.3mm. The inner fiber we use is imported from Japan to guarantee low attenuation ≤180dB/Km.

The optical fiber is made of polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA) fiber with a diameter of 1 mm. A black polyethylene cover is applied directly to the fiber.

This optical fiber has a high-purity 0.5 mm PMMA core with specially selected transparent polymer cladding . The core and cladding are surrounded by a 1.0 mm polyethylene ( PE ) jacket .
