Lighting designs with side glow optic fiber

Demand of side glow optic fiber had increased a lot recently, Today let's talk about something about it.

As one of plastic optical fibers, normally it is just used in lighting fields, including indoor and outdoor illumination decorations, a part of them are chosen for medical devices. 

There are two kinds of side emitting fibers, customers can choose suitable one according to their designs or needs.

One is traditional fiber with pmma material core, single strand, you can find the diameters from 0.5mm to 4mm. When you need fiber with small diameter, that's it. But it is a little stiff.

For big diameters, we have solutions for you. We will introduce twisted sideglow fibre to you, there are many starnds of 0.75mm fibers in one clear PVC jacket/sheath, currently popular one is 126 strands twisted side glow fiber, maximum diameter reach to 14.4mm. 

And also 42 strands and 84 strands fiber are available for your different designs, for example, pool perimeter lighting or other linear decoration.

The other one is solid core side emit fiber, this kind of fiber provides you options with diameter from 1.5mm to 18mm, and cladding of transparent color, milky white color. This fiber is flexible, it is widely welcomed in art designs and apparel & bag etc.

Based on this fiber, we provide jacketed cable with black or transparent pvc according to market's needs.
